Located in the stunning village of Montriond, Chalet Flocon de Neige is the perfect luxury chalet for large groups. The chalet is a short drive (5 minutes) to the lifts at Ardent and a 5 minute drive, or a 20 minute walk, to the centre of Morzine. Ardent is a fantastic lift station that takes you away from the crowds and into the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski area within minutes.
The village centre of Montriond is only a five-seven minute walk from the chalet, offering three bars and restaurants, a ski shop, tourist information, a post office, and a small supermarket. From the centre of Montriond, guests can also access the free local bus service to Morzine or head up to the Ardent ski lifts, making a car unnecessary.
Built in a traditional Savoyard style, the chalet features a spacious garden, decked area, and private parking for four cars. The garden also includes a Mazot, which has been equipped as an office with external wifi for those needing to work remotely.
After a day of skiing or hiking, relax in the spacious and comfortable living room, centred around a large stone open fireplace. On this level, there is a large dining table that comfortably seats 12 people, alongside a modern, fully equipped kitchen. A bunk bedroom and a separate WC are also on this floor.
French doors lead out onto a large balcony with views over the gardens and river. A striking wooden staircase, encased in glass panels, leads upstairs where there are four large bedrooms with mountain views.
On the lower floor, there is a cosy lounge area with a large smart TV, perfect for relaxing and watching a movie away from the main living space. This level also features a sauna, a utility room, and a ski storage area equipped with ski racks and boot warmers.
Sleeping
The chalet sleeps up to 12 people in 5 bedrooms that are configured as follows:
- Bedroom 1: offers a king-size bed with balcony access and ensuite shower room
- Bedroom 2: offers a king-size bed with balcony access and ensuite shower room
- Bedroom 3: offers twin beds with balcony access and shared access to the family bathroom with full size bath with shower over and twin sinks.
- Bedroom 4: offers a large quad bunk room (full size beds), balcony access and shared use of the family bathroom.
- Bedroom 5: this is on the entrance floor and offers 2 full size beds (bunk) and access to the adjoining w/c and sink.
