Adaptive skiing in Morzine

ESF Morzine and ESF Les Gets have specially trained instructors and a range of Sit-Ski equipment that enables them to teach anyone who is partially sighted, hard of hearing or has learning or physical difficulties/disabilities in complete safety. They offer private lessons and equipment hire.

Both children and adults are catered for and the instructors are passionate about giving you the ultimate skiing experience, whatever your disability. You are advised to book at least 15 days in advance and then to confirm one week before arrival, to ensure that the most appropriate equipment is available for your lesson.

Many of the town's amenities have wheelchair access and at least one disabled toilet.

The Aquatic centre is accessible for people with reduced mobility, for wheelchairs with assistance and self-propelled wheelchairs, even flooring with no obstacles, a lift accessible by wheelchairs, adapted toilet and transfer hoist if required.

The Skoda arena ice rink is accessible for assisted wheelchairs, has disabled parking spaces and a designated drop-off zone.

In Morzine, the Pléney gondola and the Nyon gondola are wheelchair accessible. All of the chairlifts are also adapted to take handiskis.

All of the chairlifts, gondolas and cable cars in Avoriaz are adapted to take a handiski, making all of the pistes and snowparks available to handiski users.

In Les Gets, the lifts that are handiski accessible are all within the Chavannes sector of the resort. This includes the chairlifts of La Croix, Chavannes Express, Perrières Express, Nauchets Express, Grains d'Or Express, and Ranfolly.
