easyBus launches new route from Geneva
New airport transfers to Morzine, Avoriaz & Les Gets
easyBus have announced recently that they will start operating a new route from Geneva airport, which will start serving the resorts of Avoriaz, Les Gets and Morzine this December.
Their service will start on 16th December, in time for the anticipated opening of the ski area, and operate 24 times per day, 364 days per year and as an introductory offer they will be selling 10,000 seats at only 5 euros each.
Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, easyBus chairman and "easy" brand owner, commented: “By providing year round budget airport transfers, easyBus will help the traveller’s pound go that little bit further – particularly after sterling’s fall - that means more opportunity to enjoy what their holiday destinations have to offer".
The drop off and pick up points for Les Gets will be at a bus stop on the Route des Grandes Alpes. In Morzine it will be a bus stop on the Route du Plan and in Avoriaz it will be at the bottom of the Prodains cable car.
In Les Gets & Morzine you can then catch a local bus to your accommodation, take a taxi or walk, depending on how far it is. Avoriaz is a vehicle free resort but they do have horse drawn carriage taxis and sledges to help you manoeuvre your bags to your accommodation.
