Heights of luxury in Avoriaz

Avoriaz celebrates it's 50 year this year and the resort has seen a few changes over those 5 decades.

With a view to developing yet further in the years to come, an announcement has been made by the CEO of Pierre & Vacances and Club Med that Avoriaz will see an increase of 2000 beds in the 4 star and 5 star range.

Club Med will double its accommodation with the addition of a new 4 trident (4 star equivalent) resort with ~400 beds, located between the golf course and resort centre.

Pierre & Vacances will be adding more luxurious accommodation in the form of a five star residence with 1,100 beds.

The development will see a total investment of around 300 million euros being pumped into Avoriaz, with the new accommodation looking likely to be available some time in 2021-2022.
