About Morzine ski pass prices

Ski pass prices for the 2024/25 winter season

featured in Ski passes Updated

Morzine is part of the Portes du Soleil, one of the largest linked ski areas in the world with more than 650km of pistes spread over two different countries: France and Switzerland.

There are two main types of lift pass to choose from:

  • Morzine Les Gets pass - the cheaper, local area pass, offering access to 120km of pistes. If you or your kids are in Morzine ski school, this is probably all the pass you'll need as lessons are on this side of the mountain.
  • Portes du Soleil pass - whole area pass, offering access to a whopping 600km of pistes in 12 different ski villages, from Morzine all the way across to the Swiss resorts of Champéry and Morgins.

If you're coming to Morzine for a week, you'll probably want a six day ski pass.

How and where to buy your ski pass

You can buy your lift pass online (see button below) and have it delivered to your home, or you can collect it from one of the ski pass offices in resort.

You can also buy your pass at any of the ski pass offices, but to get the best price we recommend you buy online at least three days in advance.

On top of the lift pass price, you’ll be asked to pay €3 for a hands-free card to use on the turnstiles. This goes for everyone, including children under five (who go free on the lifts).

Hang on to your card at the end of your holiday. You’ll be able to use it on future trips to Morzine.

Don't forget to bring a copy of your receipt on holiday. If you lose your lift pass on the mountain, you'll need the receipt to get a replacement.

Essential Winter Insurance Checklist

Ski pass insurance in Morzine

The prices on this page do not include insurance.

You’ll be given the option to add ski insurance when you buy your ski pass. This is provided by SnowRisk and normally costs a few euros a day.

You don’t have to buy insurance from the lift company, but we can’t stress how important it is to have a snow sports policy in place before you come skiing or snowboarding in Morzine.

Hopefully you’ll never have an accident. But if you have to be helicoptered off the mountain, or spend any time in hospital in France, you could end up with a huge bill.
